Until Then



Whether he likes it or not
I have his full attention

I’ve roused his curiosity

Along with his reflexive suspicions  

Provoking questions that will remain unanswered

Until he brings himself to meet me

For now

Until then

He views me from afar

Sheltered
By my unawareness of when he’s looking

Until he succumbs to his curiosity

For now

It is enough

In his absents

His presences is so present

In his absents

I try to fill the void within with words

I try to no avail  

For this void is inexhaustible

Whether I like it or not

He has my full attention

He has roused my curiosity

Along with my reflexive suspicions

Provoking questions that will remain unanswered

Until he brings himself to meet me

For now

Until then

My words will emphatically provoke him

As he views me from afar

Sheltered by his unawareness  
Of the fact that I am aware of when he's looking

Until he succumbs to his curiosity

For now

It is enough
